Raytheon BBN Technologies' Analytics and Machine Intelligence group applies deep knowledge of machine learning approaches and other artificial intelligence techniques, learned and refined in human language technologies, to a range of R&D problems.
We combine our understanding of linguistic structures with state-of-the-art statistical approaches, finding critical patterns in language to help with translation, information extraction, and profile generation. The tasks we approach are varied and challenging: finding and summarizing key information in multilingual corpora, extracting events and understanding the relations between them, predicting future events, and forming multiple interpretations of real-world situations.
